Workflow status in the sales document

The extension shows the current Flexible Workflow status right in the SD sales document of the SAP GUI, including the current approval and the complete history.

That keeps the relevant workflow information visible where users work anyway.

More extensions will follow. When a small SAP quick win emerges from our daily work that can help others too, we check whether we can make it openly available as well.

Why open source?

Not every good SAP solution has to become a product.

Some requirements can be solved with small, clearly delimited extensions.

When such building blocks can help other SAP teams as well, we would rather share them openly than force them into a licence model.

  • Open source code. You see what the extension does before you use it.
  • No licence model. No user counting, no term and no recurring fees.
  • Easy to integrate. The projects are documented and can be pulled into your own SAP system with abapGit.
  • Open to feedback. If an extension helps, we appreciate feedback, a GitHub star or a recommendation.
